Ranks and Sub-Ranks
Hierarchy and Reputation Moose_11

The Pack Hierarchy is a simple one. Members earn their rank by completing the Rising Spirits Ritual. Seven will welcome them into the pack. Ranks can be changed by a character event thread being completed that demonstrates the character wanting to be a part of a different rank. Pack Reputation
Hierarchy and Reputation Moose_11

Pack reputation is the measurement of your wolf relationship with the pack. It is gained by completing tasks for your rank. These tasks are mostly solo but please feel free to request a more challenging task if you would like to take other pack members with you. Once the meter is full, your wolf advances to the next ranking within your chosen rank to take on more important tasks. Every new character starts at the bottom as an Apprentice regardless of age. The reason for this is because you are a new member to the pack and therefore do not know the ways of the pack as Seven has built it. Reputation points are also earned by encounters with prey, predators and Nomads and completing a hunt or duel. Points awards are given based on completion of these activities.

Novice
Newly added members of your rank are added as a Novice. This is the lowest level in your rank. Novices take on simple tasks such as tending to other pack members and accompanying higher ranked members for training purposes. A Novice is not allowed to venture near the Tear nor Grizzly Flats unless accompanied by a higher ranking member of their rank. A novice is celebrated to the next stage of their rank by a ceremony held at Emerald Moon. Seven and the leader of their rank will gift the rising individual an item of their chosen rank which the Leader will need to gather info on prier to the ceremony. The member will then join the leader of their rank in a leading Howl of Triumph. If there is a group, all will participate at the same time.

Adventurer
The second level of a chosen rank. Members of this role have moderate experience in the field and can take on more challenging tasks from their rank Leader. They are now ready to meet the Grizzly family of Grizzly Flats and visits to the Tear are permitted with caution of reports of Rogues in the area. Adventurers can accompany a Novice on their tasks and accompany Expert members on their tasks as well. When Adventurers are ready for their next rank ceremony, their are painted with colors of their rank. The paint design is unique to the member. Paint colors correspond to the following: red for guardians; orange for seekers; green for herbalists. The newly appointed members will join Seven on a hunt to celebrate their success of making it to an Elite status, the highest status in the pack.

Elite
Elite members of their rank take on higher level tasks such as direct threats to the pack, secret service tasks, and are heavily relied upon to teach and set an example for lower ranked individuals. Elite members are considered the most skilled in their profession. Their tasks often require more than one member in the rank to be completed. Because of their high risk and experience in the pack, they often travel farthest outside the borders of the Emerald forest to keep outsiders away, animal and human. Elite members take on a large task in a group of three individuals or more and consist of one wolf from each rank in order to complete the task. When the task is completed. the wolves return with a report to the Harbinger.

Leader
Rank leaders stands for its name. They lead members of their ranks by providing them with tasks to help that member earn reputation with the pack. A lead rank can be won over by an Elite member challenging the Lead wolf to a duel. This duel is witnessed by the Harbinger and at least one other pack member for the challenger to claim their new title. If the duel is lost, the challenger must wait one in-game season to challenge the Leader again. Leaders bring news brought to the from lower ranking members to the Harbinger and receive personal tasks from the Harbinger. If the harbinger is not in the area, one of the Leaders must take charge in their absence.
